The Giselle Room is a novel about a love triangle between an artist and her art, a student and her teacher, and a daughter and her mother. 29-year old choreographer Willa Devin returns to her hometown to restage her past only to discover that life is not a dance and she is not its choreographer. When her mother reveals a long buried secret about Julian Neville—the crush of Willa’s adolescent heart—Willa is forced to confront the girlish sophistries that have kept her life’s promise locked in the Giselle room.
